MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 A.M. on March 14, 2018, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Torkelson moved the approval of the March 13, 2018 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3089 (Metsa) Mine inspection requirements modified.

Representative Metsa moved HF3089 be sent to the General Register.

Representative Fabian moved the H3089A-1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifier:
Joe Austin, Director of Safety and Risk Management, St. Louis County

Representative Metsa renewed his motion that HF3089, as amended, be sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3095 (Smith) Waste management provisions modified.

Representative Fabian moved HF3095 be sent to the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee.

Representative Fabian moved the H3095A-1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fabian renewed his motion that HF3095, as amended, be sent to the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

A Tourism Industry update was given.
