HEATH AND HUMAN SERVICES REFORM COMMITTEE
MINUTES


Representative Schomacker, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, started the meeting at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) began an overview of recurring reports issued by the Department.

Amy Dellwo, Director, Government Relations;
Nathan Moracco, Assistant Commissioner, Health Care.

A quorum was present at 8:23 a.m. Representative Schomacker officially called the meeting to order at 8:39 a.m.

Representative Quam moved to approve the minutes from January 10, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representatives from DHS continued the presentation.

Kari Benson, Director, Aging and Adult Services;
Christopher Orr, Legislative Director, Operations;
Jim Koppel, Assistant Commissioner, Children and Family Services;
Claire Wilson, Assistant Commissioner, Community Supports.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
