MINUTES

Representative Nornes, Chair of the Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM on March 7, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Albright moved that the minutes of March 1, 2017, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1878 (Barr, R.) Public postsecondary institution automatic admission required.

Representative Nornes moved that HF1878 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Albright moved to adopt the H1878A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lien moved to adopt the H0319A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
