MINUTES

Representative Pat Garofalo, Chair of the Job Growth & Energy Affordability Policy & Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF635 (Hamilton) Lewis and Clark Regional Water System existing state appropriation bond authorization purposes modified, and additional state appropriation bonding for the final phase of the system project authorized.

Representative Baker moved HF635 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Capital Investment.

Julia Nelmark, Director of New Markets Tax Credit Program, Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation; Steven Kast, Chief Financial Officer, TEAM Industries; testified on HF1303.

Representative Vogel renewed his motion that HF1303, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1202 (Garofalo) Labor and industry commissioner duties technical correction made.
