MINUTES

Representative Gunther, Chair of the Legacy Funding Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m. on March 6, 2017, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Torkelson moved that the minutes of February 27, 2017 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

+HF232 (Dettmer) (Veterans Rest Camp and Camp Legionville facility improvement funding provided, and money appropriated.). Chair Gunther moved that HF232 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.
Testifying before committee were the following in favor of HF232:

HF647 (Dettmer) (Vietnam: Minnesota Remembers project public television funding provided, and money appropriated). Chair Gunther moved that HF647 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.
Chair Gunther moved to adopt the A17-0144 amendment (Dettmer).
Chair Gunther renewed his motion to adopt the A17-0144 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF667 (Daniels) (Faribault; Rice County Veterans Memorial funding provided, and money appropriated). Chair Gunther moved that HF667 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.

HF1634 (Baker) (Somali arts and cultural heritage program funding provided, and money appropriated). Chair Gunther moved that HF1634 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.

HF1191 (Johnson, C.) (Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota funding provided, and money appropriated.). Chair Gunther moved that HF1191 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.

HF1193 (Johnson, C.) (Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota funding provided, and money appropriated.). Chair Gunther moved that HF1193 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.

HF1308 (Murphy M.) (Regional library systems funding provided, and money appropriated). Representative Murphy moved that HF1308 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Funding Finance omnibus bill.

Chair Gunther moved to adopt the H1308A1 amendment (Murphy M.)
Chair Gunther renewed his motion to adopt the H1308A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Gunther moved to adopt the H1737A1 amendment (Thissen).
Chair Gunther renewed his motion to adopt the H1737A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
