MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair called the meeting to order at 1:04 PM., March 27, 2018 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Green moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 21, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2722 (Jenifer Loon): Address; publication of home address for registered businesses prohibited, and availability specified.
Representative Anderson moved that HF2722 be laid over.
Representative Anderson moved the H2722DE2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Testifiers:
Bert Black, Office of the Secretary of State.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF2722, as amended, be laid over. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2902 (Joe Schomacker): Program evaluation duties transferred from the management and budget commissioner to the Legislative Budget Office.
Representative Anderson moved HF2902 before the committee.

Representative Anderson moved that HF2902 be laid over. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3198 (Barb Haley): Legislative auditor requested to study and report on disparities in health insurance rates, and money appropriated.
Representative Anderson moved that HF3198 be re-referred to the Committee on HHS Finance.
Representative Anderson moved that H3198A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson noted a technical correction to the H3198A3 amendment.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF3198, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on HHS Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2809 (Matt Grossell): Emergency operations and continuity of government provisions amended; and adoption of emergency operations and continuity of government plan by the legislative branch, judicial branch, and state constitutional officers required.
Representative Anderson moved that HF2809 be sent to the Public Safety Committee.
Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF2809 be re-referred to the Public Safety Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1007 (Jeff Howe): State agency criteria required to be met before suing a local government.

Representative Anderson moved that HF1007 be laid over.
Representative Anderson moved the H1007A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF1007, as amended, be laid over. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
