MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair, began the meeting at 1:00 PM., April 17, 2018 in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

Representative Anderson called the meeting to order at 1:05 PM.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Pugh moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 12, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4392 (Tony Jurgens): Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission directed to support a bid to host an International Ski Federation Nordic World Ski Championship event.

Representative Anderson moved HF4392 before the committee and that it be laid over.

Representative Anderson moved the A18-0768 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF4392, as amended, be laid over. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3661 (Keith Franke): Beyond Opioids Project funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Anderson moved HF3661 before the committee for an informational hearing.

Representative Anderson moved HF3891 before the committee and that it be laid over.

Representative Anderson moved the H3891DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson moved that HF3891, as amended, be laid over. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3360 (Randy Jessup): Continuing appropriations provided in the event all or a portion of the state operating budget is not enacted prior to the start of a fiscal biennium.

Representative Anderson moved HF3360 before the committee and that it be laid over.

Representative Lillie moved the H3360DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

The Committee will recess at 2:45 until 5:00 p.m. or the call of the Chair in Room 10 to continue the walk-through of the Omnibus State Government Finance Supplemental Budget Bill.

Public testimony and bill mark-up will take place on Wednesday, April 18.
