TRANSPORTATION FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, officially called the thirty fifth meeting to order at 1:04 P.M. on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018, in the Basement Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Nelson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 15th, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3301 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion.

HF 3301 (Urdahl) - Educational campaign regarding stopping for school buses funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Torkelson moved the A18 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion for HF 3301, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lucero moved that HF 3485 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Lucero moved the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

HF 3485 (Lucero) – Corridor of commerce funds required to be split equally between the metropolitan area and outside the metropolitan area.

Representative Lucero renewed his motion for HF 3485, as amended, to be laid over for possible inclusion. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3616 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion.

HF 3616 (Albright) – Suburb to suburb transit project funding provided and money appropriated.

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion that HF 3616 be laid over for possible inclusion.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 P.M.
