MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, called the forty-fourth meeting to order at 1:10 P.M. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in the Basement Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Johnson moved to approve the minutes from April 18th. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 4160, as amended, come before the committee.

Representative Hornstein moved the H4160A13 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Miller moved the H4160A5 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lucero moved the H41060A7 amendment. The amendment was withdrawn.

Representative Rarick moved the H4160A2 amendment. The amendment was withdrawn.

Representative Daniels moved the H4160A8 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Howe moved the H4160A9 amendment. The amendment was withdrawn.

Representative Hausman moved the A416014 amendment. The amendment was withdrawn.

Representative Runbeck moved the H4160A18 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Bernardy moved the H4160A15 amendment. The amendment was withdrawn.

Reprsentative Baker moved the H4160A10 amendment.

Representative Baker moved to amend the H4160A10 amendment. The amendment read as follows: Page 1, line 9, before the period insert “within an area having a 50-mile radius from the site of a construction or maintenance project”. THE AMENDMENT TO THE H460A10 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Bernardy moved the H4160A20 amendment.

Representative Bernardy moved to amend the H4160A20 amendment with the H4160A23 amendment. THE AMENDMENT TO THE H4160A20 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS NOT ADOPTED.
