MINUTES

Representative Laurie Halverson, Chair of the Commerce Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:33PM on March 26th, 2019, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved to approve the March 15th, 2019 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1269 (Cantrell)
Mental health service payment and denial of payment clarified, primary care residency expansion grants modified, practicum incentive payments established, mental health training program developed, and money appropriated.

Representative Halverson moved HF1269 be re-referred to Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation to Health and Human Services Finance Division.

Representative Halverson renewed the motion to move HF1269 to be re-referred to Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation to Health and Human Services Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2538 (Mahoney)
Unclaimed property compliance funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Mahoney moved HF2538 be re-referred to Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation to Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division.

Representative Mahoney moved H2538A1 (Mahoney) amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved H2538A2 (Mahoney) amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
