MINUTES

Representative Becker-Finn, Vice Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:48 A.M. on February 19th, 2020, in Hearing Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Becker-Finn called the meeting to order at 9:48 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Lislegard moved to approve the minutes of February 11th, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3268 (Persell) PFAS Task Force created, and money appropriated.

Chair Persell moved that HF3268 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations.

Chair Persell renewed the motion that HF3268 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3239 (Ecklund) Cervidae carcass importing prohibited.

Vice Chair Becker-Finn moved that HF3239 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Chair Persell assumed the gavel at 10:04 A.M.

Chair Persell renewed the motion that HF3239 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2992 (O’Neill) Solid waste disposal facility closure requirements modified.

Chair Persell moved that HF2992 be recommended to be re-referred to the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division.

Chair Persell moved that HF2992 be laid over for future consideration. The bill was laid over.

HF2999 (Fischer) Game and fish; gross overlimit penalty modified, and criminal penalties provided.
Chair Persell moved that HF2999 be recommended to be re-referred to the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy Division.

Chair Persell moved that HF2999 be laid over for future consideration. The bill was laid over.
