MINUTES

Representative Jeanne Poppe, Chair of the Division, called the virtual meeting to order at 4:15PM on April 30th, 2020 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via UberConference and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brand moved the minutes from April 28th, 2020.

The motion prevailed.

Chair Poppe moved HF 4825 in front of the division

Chair Poppe moved the H4285DE1 amendment to HF 4285.

Chair Poppe moved the H4285A2 amendment to the H4285DE1 amendment for approval.

The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted.

Chair Poppe moved the H4285A3 amendment the H4285DE1 amendment for approval.

The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted.

Chair Poppe moved the H4285DE1 amendment as amended for approval

The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted.

Chair Poppe moved that HF 4285 as amended be recommended to be referred to Ways and Means.

Chair Poppe called for a roll call on HF 4285.

*NOTES: HF 4285: Amendments to the DE to HF 4285 will be considered and the bill will be voted out. They are due by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29.
HF 4490: The DE to HF 4490 will be posted in advance of the meeting. No action will be taken on HF 4490. Amendments to the DE for HF 4490 are due by 9:45 am on Monday, May 4 for consideration May 5th.

Written public testimony on the posted DE amendment to HF 4490 is invited. Please submit testimony to nancy.conley@house.mn by noon on Friday, May 1.
