MINUTES

Representative Pinto, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:01 am on January 17, 2019 in Capitol Room 120.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Members present:

A quorum was present.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved to approve the minutes. The motion prevailed.

Chair Pinto introduced the committee rules and roster.

Susan Castellano, Minnesota Department of Health, testified about infant and maternal mortality.

Representative Franson introduced herself to the committee.

Heather Peterman, Karen Giusto, and Diogo Reis, Minnesota Department of Human Services, presented on medical assistance programs in Minnesota.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:26 am.
