MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on February 28th, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Lueck moved to approve the minutes of February 26th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Department of Natural Resources continued its presentation of the Governor’s budget recommendations from the previous meeting. The presenters were:
Grant Wilson, Fish and Wildlife Division Acting Director
Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner
Susan Damon, Lands and Minerals Acting Director
Col. Rodmen Smith, Enforcement Division Director
Forrest Boe, Forestry Division Acting Director
Laurie Martinson, Operations Services Division Director
Mary Robison, Chief Financial Officer

The Pollution Control Agency presented the Governor’s budget recommendations for the agency. The presenters were:
Laura Bishop, Commissioner
Greta Gauthier, Assistant Commissioner
Joshua Bunker, Chief Financial Officer

HF340 (Lillie) Outdoor heritage fund previous appropriations modified, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved HF340 to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means with recommended referral to the Legacy Finance Division.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the A2 amendment.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion to adopt the A2 amendment. Representative Fabian requested a roll-call vote on the motion. The results were as follows:

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF340 as amended be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means with recommended referral to the Legacy Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
