GREATER MINNESOTA JOBS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Committee on Greater Minnesota Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:45 PM on March 18, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Jeff Freeman, Executive Director of the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority, gave a presentation of the Priority Project List for the agency.

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 2119 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Murphy presented HF 2119, a bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant or a loan to the city of Two Harbors for a new wastewater treatment plant; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 2119 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 2159 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Quam presented HF 2159, a bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money for wastewater infrastructure in Oronoco.

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 2159 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Sandstede moved that HF 1479 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Sandstede presented HF 1479, a bill for an act relating to capital investment; appropriating money for wastewater system improvements in the city of Floodwood; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 1479 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Lien moved that the minutes of March 11, 2019, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Lien moved that the minutes of March 13, 2019, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
