MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 12:50 P.M. on January 31, 2019 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hamilton moved that the minutes of January 30, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Julie Marquart – Director of Purchasing and Service Delivery, Heather Petermann – Director of Health Research and Quality and P.J. Weiner – Manager of Alternative Health Care Purchasing from the Department of Human Services gave an overview of state health care purchasing.

Jim Przybilla – CEO of PrimeWest Health, Leota Lind – CEO of South Country Health Alliance and Brad Anderson – Goodhue County Commissioner gave an overview of county-based purchasing.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:15 P.M.
