HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY DIVISION

MINUTES

Representative Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:33 P.M. on January 23, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Wolgamott moved that the minutes of January 22, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community Colleges gave an overview of their schools and programs.

The Minnesota Private College Council gave an overview of their schools and programs:

-Becky Bergman, President of Gustavus Adolphus College

The Inter Faculty Organization and Minnesota State College Faculty gave a joint overview of their programs and goals.

-Brent Jeffers, President of Inter Faculty Organization
-Matt Williams, Vice President of the Minnesota State College Faculty

The meeting was adjourned at 4:02 P.M.
