MINUTES

Representative Michael Howard, Vice Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Division, calls the twelfth meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 in room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Munson moves the minutes from April 3rd, 2019 for adoption. THE MOTION PREVAILS AND THE MINUTES ARE ADOPTED.

HF 3326 (Hausman) - Housing infrastructure bonds issued, public housing rehabilitation funding provided, shelter supply increased, housing infrastructure bond eligible use added, bonds issued, and money appropriated

Representative Hausman moves that HF 3326 be referred to the committee on Capital Investment.

Representative Hausman moves the A1 author’s amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILS AND THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

HF 3253 (Tabke) - Minnesota housing tax credit contribution fund established; credit against individual income tax, corporate franchise tax, and insurance premiums for certain contributions provided; report required, and money appropriated.

Chair Hausman moves that HF 3253 be referred to the committee on Taxes.

HF 3358 (Hassan) - A bill for an act relating to capital investment; authorizing the sale and issuance of housing infrastructure bonds; increasing the capacity of shelters; appropriating money.

Representative Hassan moves that HF 3358 be referred to the committee on Capital Investment.

Representative Sauke moves that HF 2967 be referred to the committee on Commerce.

Representative Sauke withdraws the A1 amendment and offers the A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILS AND THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.
