MINUTES


Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:45 a.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Liebling moved the minutes from March 19, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.




HF 637 (Morrison) Health-related professions temporary license suspensions and background checks modified.

Representative Liebling moved to recommend HF 637 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Liebling moved the A5 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling renewed her motion to recommend HF 637 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 637, as amended, was recommended to be placed on the General Register.





HF 1744 (Masin) Family law mediation task force established.

Representative Cantrell moved to re-refer HF 1744 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Cantrell moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Cantrell moved A19-0236 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
