MINUTES

Representative Mariani, Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 12:53 P.M. on March 5th, 2020, in room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 2934 (Youakim) Dementia and Alzheimer's disease; crime alert categories increased to include dementia and Alzheimer's disease categories, law enforcement training on associated issues grant funding provided, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative Youakim presented HF2934.

Chair Mariani moved to amend HF2934 with the A20-0609 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Mariani laid HF2934 over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 3380 (O'Neill) Human sex trafficking investigations case policy adoption required by law enforcement.

Representative O’Neill presented HF3380.

Chair Mariani laid HF3380 over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
