Representative Considine, Chair of the Corrections Division, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on February 26th, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Tabke moved that the minutes of February 20th, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1237 (Winkler) State and local jail and prison inmates required to be housed in publicly owned and operated jails and prisons, and state and counties prohibited form contracting with private prisons.
Rep. Winkler presented the bill.
Chair Considine moved to lay over HF 1237 for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
