MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance Committee meeting to order at 8:00 AM, April 23, 2020 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Nelson moved HF3499, as previously amended, be referred to the Committee on Ways & Means.

HF3499 (Nelson, M.); transferring and appropriating money for purposes of the Help America Vote Act.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H3499DE2-1.

Chair Nelson moved to incorporate Amendment H3499A8 into Amendment H3499DE2-1.

Chair Nelson moved to amend Amendment H3499DE2-1, as amended, by deleting “December 21, 2024” on Line 5.26 and inserting “March 27, 2022”.

The Division will consider the adoption of a DE2-1 Amendment - which will be posted by close of business on Tuesday, April 21. Amendments to the DE2-1 amendment may be considered. The Division plans to move HF 3499, as amended, to the Ways and Means Committee.

Amendments 3499A1 and 3499A3 (posted below) have already been adopted and will be reflected in the DE Amendment.

II. HF 2768 (Nelson) Please Note: the substance of HF 3732 (Lillie) - Labor agreements and compensation plan ratified - will be substituted for the language of HF 2768 by a DE amendment. (The DE amendment will be posted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21st.) HF 2768 will be taken up no later than 8:45 a.m.
