Rep. Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Finance & Policy Division, called the Twenty Eighth meeting to order at 9:05 A.M. on May 23rd, 2019 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Andrew Lee, House Fiscal, continued explanation of the budget spreadsheet.

Matt Burress, House Research, explained draft Transportation omnibus bill language – revisor number 19-5225.

Matt Langer, MN State Patrol, answered committee questions.

Cassandra O’Hearn, Deputy Commissioner, Department of Public Safety, answered committee questions.

Josh Hubinger, Budget Director, MnDOT, answered committee questions.

Mike Opat, Hennepin County Commissioner, testified before the committee.

Tod Hill, private Deputy Registrars, testified before the committee.

Joshua Houdek, Sierra Club and the Coalition for Clean Transportation, testified before the committee.

Jessica Treat, Move Minnesota, testified before the committee.

Michael Hollenstead, St. Paul resident, testified before the committee.


Chair Hornstein adjourned the meeting at 11:50am.
