HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-SECOND SESSION
AGRICULTURE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Mike Sundin, Chair of the Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 7, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Rep. Vang moved to approve adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting. The motion prevailed. The minutes from the February 2, 2022 meeting were adopted.

HF 2391 (Klevorn) State aquaculture plan development funding, and money appropriated.

Rep. Klevorn moved that HF 2391 be laid over for possible inclusion in the supplemental finance bill.

Rep. Klevorn moved the A1 Amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Chair Sundin moved HF 2583 to get the bill before the committee.

Rep. Wolgamott presented HF 2583.

Chair Sundin moved an oral amendment to HF 2583:
Page 2, line 6, delete “2022” and insert “2023”
Page 2, line 8, delete “2023” and insert “2024”
Page 2, line 9, delete “2024” and insert “2025”

The motion prevailed. The oral amendment was adopted.

Chair Sundin laid over HF 2583, as amended, for future consideration.

Chair Sundin adjourned the meeting at 2:10 P.M.
