STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:31 AM, March 10, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Klevorn. moved that the minutes for March 8, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson moved HF3483.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H3483A2. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Richardson presented HF3483, as amended, a bill for an act relating to state government; appropriating money to the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission to study the development of the United States Amateur Sports and Training Center in Dakota County in partnership with the cities of Eagan and Inver Grove Heights; requiring a report.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H3176A2. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Freiberg presented HF3176, as amended, long-term equity investment eligibility expanded, and technical amendments to language made.
