HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on February 24th, 2021 remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Bahner moved that the minutes from February 23rd, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF970 (Vang) Mental health service payment and denial of payment clarified, health professional education loan forgiveness program provisions modified, mental health professional licensing board requirements modified, mental health provider continuing education requirements modified, mental health practitioner requirements modified, and various other provisions modified; and money appropriated.
Chair Schultz moved to adopt the Committee Report from the Behavioral Health Division. THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Schultz moved that HF970, be rereferred to the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee.
Chair Schultz moved the A3 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz renewed her motion to rerefer HF970 as recommended to the Commerce Finance and Policy committee.

Representative Schultz moved HF1026 before the committee
Chair Schultz moved the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
