MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on March 12th, 2021 remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Liebling moved that the minutes from March 11th, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1200 (Richardson) Paid family, pregnancy, bonding, and applicant's serious medical condition benefits provided; employment leaves regulated and required; data classified; rulemaking authorized; and money appropriated.

Chair Schultz moved that HF1200 be rereferred to the Labor, Industry, Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy committee as recommended.

HF1532 (Frederick) Human services community supports provisions modified.

Rep. Frederick moved that HF1532 be laid over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.

Rep. Frederick moved the A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Frederick renewed his motion that HF1532, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.


HF1151 (Agbaje) Child welfare provisions modified, Minnesota African American family Preservation Act established, criminal penalties provided, report required, and money appropriated.
