HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on April 8th, 2021, remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Bahner moved that the minutes from April 7th, 2021, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Schultz moved that the corrected minutes from March 5th, 2021, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2127 (Schultz) Children and family services, community supports, direct care and treatment, and chemical and mental health services provisions modified; forecast adjustments made; reports required; technical and conforming changes made; and money appropriated.

Chair Schultz moved to rerefer HF2127 as amended to the Ways and Means committee as recommended.

Chair Schultz moved the H2127DE1 amendment.

Amendments to the DE1:

Chair Schultz moved the A18 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz moved the A6 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hanson moved the A15 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pinto moved the A8 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Frederick moved the A7 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sandell moved the A10 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rasmusson moved the A4 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz moved the A14 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rasmusson moved to offer the A1 Amendment. Rep. Rasmusson withdrew the A1 Amendment.

Representative Kiel moved to offer the A9 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz renewed her motion to adopt the H2127DE1 as amended onto HF2127. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz renewed her motion to rerefer HF2127 as amended to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Schultz stated a roll call vote would be taken. The results were as follows:
