MINUTES


Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Behavioral Health Policy Division, and pursuant to House rule 10.01, called the remote meeting to order at 8:30 am on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. The meeting was broadcast live via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant took the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Frederick moved to adopt the minutes from the division meeting from Wednesday, February 3, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Members of the Opiate Epidemic Response Advisory Council (OERAC) gave a presentation. Presenters included the following:

Rep. Dave Baker, OERAC House appointee
Rep. Erin Koegel, OERAC House appointee
Dana Farley, Department of Health
Dr. Anne Pylkas, OERAC Chair


Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) presented draft language (Revisor draft 21-00216) for the governor’s mental health uniform service standards budget proposal. Presenters included the following:

Ben Ashley-Wurtman, DHS
Abby Vavra, Fraser
Brooke Schultz, Radius Health
Jinny Palen, Minnesota Association of Community Mental Health Programs


The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 am.
