MINUTES


Representative Hausman, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on March 8, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative HOWARD moved to approve the minutes from March 3, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair HOWARD assumed the gavel at 10:32 A.M.

HF3549(Hausman); Housing finance agency policy provisions adopted, agency debt limit increased, bond issuance authority expanded, agency funding use and eligibility requirements expanded, housing infrastructure bond used clarified, and technical and conforming changes made.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF3549 be laid over for the possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Hausman introduced HF3549.

Representative HAUSMAN renewed her motion that HF3549 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

HF3143(Agbaje); Housing infrastructure bond usage expanded and regulated.

Representative moved that HF3143 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Agbaje introduced HF3143.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF3287 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF2861 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Howard introduced an amendment to HF2861, the A1 amendment.

Representative HOWARD moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Howard introduced HF2861, as amended.
