MINUTES


Representative Hausman, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on March 15, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative HOWARD moved to approve the minutes from March 8, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3837(Bernardy); Manufactured home lending and purchase of manufactured home parks by cooperative grant programs created, and money appropriated.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF3837 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Legacy Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Bernardy introduced and amendment to HF3837, the A3 amendment.

Representative HAUSMAN moved to adopt the A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Bernardy introduced HF3837, as amended.

Testifying on the bill, as amended:

Representative HAUSMAN renewed her motion that HF3837 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

HF4269(Agbaje); First-generation homebuyers down payment assistance fund established under the administration of a central community development financial institution, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative AGBAJE moved that HF4269 be re-referred to the committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Representative Agbaje introduced HF4269.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF1790 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Gomez introduced an amendment to HF1790, the A1 amendment.

Representative GOMEZ moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
