MINUTES


Representative Lillie, Chair of the Legacy Finance Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on February 10, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative JORDAN moved to approve the minutes from February 3, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation on diversity and inclusion of BIPOC Communities in the Parks and Trails Fund.

Presenters:
- Lisa Barajas: Community Development Director, Metropolitan Council
- Renee Mattson: Executive Director, Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission
- Erika Rivers: Minnesota State Parks and Trails Division Director, Department of Natural Resources

Presentation on diversity and inclusion of BIPOC Communities in the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Presenters:
- Sue Gens: Executive Director, Minnesota State Arts Board
- Kathy Mouacheupao: Executive Director, Metropolitan Regional Arts Council

Presentation on diversity and inclusion of BIPOC Communities in the Clean Water Fund.

Presenters:
- Paul Gardner: Administrator, Clean Water Council
- Katrina Kessler: Minnesota Pollution Control Agency & Interagency Coordination Team (ICT) for the Clean Water Fund
- Tannie Eshenaur: Water Policy Manager, Minnesota Department of Health

Presentation on diversity and inclusion of BIPOC Communities in the Outdoor Heritage Fund.

Presenters:
- Mark Johnson: Executive Director, Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council

The meeting was adjourned at 10:01 A.M.
