MINUTES


Representative Lillie, Chair of the Legacy Finance Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:30 AM on FEBRUARY 23RD, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative JORDAN moved to approve the minutes from FEBURARY 16TH, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation on Park and Trails Fund activities.

- Renee Mattson: Executive Director, Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission
- Lisa Barajas: Executive Director of the Community Development Division, Metropolitan Council
- Ann Pierce: Director of Parks and Trails, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
- Emmet Mullin: Manager of Regional Parks and Natural Resources, Metropolitan Council

Presentation on Public Libraries activities.

- Erin Smith: Executive Director, Viking Regional Library System
- Beth Burns: President, Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library

Presentation on Minnesota Children’s Museum activities.

- Diane Krizan: President, Minnesota Children’s Museum

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 AM.
