MINUTES

Representative Gomez, Vice-Chair of the Property Tax Division, called the remote meeting to order at 3:30 P.M. on March 10, 2021, pursuant to House Rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Her moved the approval of the March 4, 2021 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1311 (Youakim) Energy improvement project special assessments allowed

Chair Youakim moved that HF 1311 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Chair Youakim moved that the HF 1311 DE2 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Youakim presented the bill, as amended.

Chair Youakim renewed her motion that HF 1311, as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Chair Youakim reassumed the Chair at 3:39 P.M.

HF 1507 (Hamilton) Five year rule extended to ten years, district duration extended
by five years

Representative Her moved that HF 1507 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Hamilton presented the bill.

Representative Hertaus moved that HF 1508 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Hamilton presented the bill.

HF 1736 (Fischer) Tax increment financing; increment use flexibility provided, and
redevelopment district five year rule extended

Representative Fischer moved that HF 1736 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Fischer moved that the HF 1736 A3 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fischer presented the bill, as amended.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 1587 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Torkelson moved that the HF 1587 A2 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Torkelson presented the bill, as amended.

Representative Fischer moved that HF 1666 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Fischer moved that the HF 1666 A1 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Howard presented the bill, as amended.
