WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Rena Moran, Chair of the Committee, called the remote Ways and Means Committee meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Olson moved to adopt the minutes from Monday, February 8, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF445 (Mariani) State Aid For Emergencies (SAFE) account and aid program established to reimburse local governments and state agencies for emergency response expenses.
Representative Mariani moved that HF445 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Representative Mariani moved to adopt the H0445A18 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Johnson moved to adopt the H0445A17 amendment.
Representative Johnson moved to adopt the H0445A21 amendment to the H0445A17 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Johnson renewed the motion to adopt the H0445A17 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
Representative Mariani renewed the motion that HF445, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:
