CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:34 A.M. on March 9, 2023, in Room 200N of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Keeler assumed the gavel at 8:35 A.M.

HF 2471 (Pinto) Child care assistance eligibility and co-payment requirements modified.
Chair Pinto moved to bring HF 2471 before the committee.

Chair Pinto moved the DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Pinto presented HF 2471 as amended.

Presentation on the DE3 amendment by Clare Sanford, Vice President of Government and Community Relations Government Relations Chair at the Minnesota Child Care Association.

Representative Hanson moved to bring HF 1521 before the committee.

Representative Hanson presented 1521.
