LABOR FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Michael Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM on January 12, 2023 in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

Chair Nelson assumed the gavel at 1:01 PM

Representative McDonald motioned to approve the minutes from January 10th, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF36 (Greenman); Worker safety requirements established, and money appropriated.

Representative Greenman moved that HF 36 be rereferred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Representative Greenman offered an oral amendment HF 36.

Page 4, line 18, delete “$76,000” and insert “$240,000”
Page 4. delete “$50,000” and insert “$218,000”

Chair Nelson moved to incorporate HF 36 as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Greenman presented HF 36 as amended.
