PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES


Representative Kelly Moller, Chair of the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on January 31, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Becker-Finn moved that the Committee minutes from January 26, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 823 (Curran) Law enforcement agencies authorized to share criminal history background check data with Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training.

Rep. Curran moved that HF 823 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Rep. Curran presented HF 823.

Chair Moller moved to lay over HF 357.
