Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 11:42 am on May 9, 2023 in Capitol Room 120.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the Minutes from May 5, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Thursday, May 11, 2023 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the 2023-R21 Resolution on Waiver of House Rule on Concurrences.
Representative Torkelson requested a roll call.

The Clerk took the roll.
