Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 10:10 am on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the State Office Building Basement Hearing Room.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the minutes from March 7, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved to refer HF2680 to the Committee on Commerce Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved to refer HF2679 to the Committee on Agriculture Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:11 am.

Re-referral of governor's budget bills:.
00:54 - HF2680 (Stephenson) Department of Commerce biennial budget established; various insurance governing provisions modified; strengthen Minnesota homes program established; money transmitters regulated; energy, renewable energy, and utility regulation governing provisions established and modified; state competitiveness fund established; technical changes made; penalties established; administrative rulemaking authorized; reports required; and money appropriated.
