Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 10:28 am on March 28, 2023 in the State Office Building Basement Hearing Room.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the Minutes from March 23rd, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Thursday, March 30, 2023 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved to approve the House Budget Proposal for FY 2024-25, Barb Juleich, Controller and Chief Financial Officer of Budget and Accounting of the Minnesota House of Representatives Budget and Accounting Department, testified on the Proposal. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 am.
