Representative Ginny Klevorn, Chair of the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M. on Friday, March 3, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nadeau moved to approve the minutes from March 2, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1409 (Frazier); Public educational radio stations funding provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Klevorn moved that HF1409 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Frazier presented HF1409.

Chair Klevorn renewed the motion that HF1409 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF1145 (Huot); Public stations block grant funding provided, and money appropriated.
Vice-Chair Huot moved that HF1145 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Vice-Chair Huot moved the H1145A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Freiberg moved that HF1231 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Freiberg moved the H1231A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1132 (Lee, F.); Withholding or grant funds required for capital projects before receipt of approval of compliance with sustainable building guidelines, adjustment of capital project construction cost thresholds by commissioner of administration required, sustainable building guideline education funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF1132 be re-referred to the Capital Investment Committee.

Chair Klevorn moved the H1132A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Joy moved the H1132A4 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
