MINUTES
Representative Jerry Newton, Chair of the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance & Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M., on February 27, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Bliss moved that the minutes from February 13, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2130 (Coulter) Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum funding provided, and money appropriated.
Chair Newton moved that HF2130 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy omnibus bill.
Representative Coulter presented HF2130.

Chair Newton renewed the motion that HF2130 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.
Vice-Chair Elkins assumed the gavel at 1:16 P.M.
HF1937 (Newton) Department of Military Affairs and Department of Veterans Affairs budgets established, veterans bonus program and Minnesota GI Bill program provisions modified, reports required, and money appropriated.
Chair Elkins moved that HF1937 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy omnibus bill.
Representative Newton presented HF1937.
