1.1    .................... moves to amend H.F. No. 3424 as follows:
1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. LEASE OF TAX-FORFEITED AND STATE LANDS.
1.4    (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 282.04, or other law to the contrary,
1.5St. Louis County may enter a 30-year lease of tax-forfeited land for a wind energy project.
1.6    (b) The commissioner of natural resources may enter a 30-year lease of land
1.7administered by the commissioner for a wind energy project."
1.8Delete the title and insert:
1.10relating to state lands; authorizing a 30-year lease of tax-forfeited and state lands
1.11for wind energy projects."
