1.3Page 2, delete subdivision 11 and insert:
1.4    "Subd. 12. Naturopathy. "Naturopathy" means a noninvasive system of health
1.5practice that employs natural health modalities, assessments, treatments, substances, and
1.6education to promote health, including but not limited to the use of foods, food extracts,
1.7dietary supplements, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, digestive aids, botanical substances,
1.8topical natural substances, homeopathic remedies and preparations, air, water, heat,
1.9cold, sound, light, the physical modalities of magnetic therapy, bodywork, biofeedback,
1.10energy balancing, kinesiology, lifestyle coaching, and exercise to help stimulate and
1.11maintain the individual's intrinsic self-healing processes. Naturopathy and the individual
1.12modalities and practices within the definition of naturopathy do not require licensure or
1.13registration and are practiced according to chapter 146A for unlicensed complementary
1.14and alternative health care practices.
1.15    Subd. 13. Unlicensed complementary and alternative health care practices.
1.16    "Unlicensed complementary and alternative health care practices" has the meaning given
1.17in chapter 146A."

1.19naturopathic doctor," "naturopathic doctor," or "doctor of naturopathic medicine," while
1.20practicing"
