Starting Line: Greater MN lawmaker pushing for public skate park funding

When first learning about a request for extra funding for public skate parks, you wouldn’t necessarily think the lead sponsor is a representative from Greater Minnesota. However, Rep. Tama Theis (R-St. Cloud) is sponsoring legislation that proposes to do just that.

This week on Starting Line, find out why she has decided to push for more public skate parks in HF4423, and why she believes it’s important to recognize and adapt to the way people choose to exercise today.
