I am pleased to announce the Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program is now accepting applications for the 2026 legislative session which begins on February 17, 2026. Since 1975, Juniors from throughout the state have traveled to Saint Paul to spend a week in our magnificent Capitol building. This non-partisan program in its 50th year, is as relevant, resonant, and rewarding as ever. But you don’t just have to take my word for it; here are comments from several recent participants:
We are honored that you have entrusted us with your student’s participation in this exceptional educational opportunity. As your student prepares for a week of serving and learning on the Capitol Complex, we want to assure you that their safety and well-being are our top priorities.
To provide a secure and supportive environment, the Capitol Complex is monitored 24 hours a day by professional Capitol Security personnel. In addition, our program includes specially assigned chaperones who will accompany students at all times, ensuring supervision, guidance, and assistance throughout their experience.
We are committed to creating an atmosphere where students can focus on learning, growth, and civic engagement—free from concerns for their safety. From structured program activities to carefully planned logistics, every precaution has been taken to uphold the highest standards of care.
I would encourage you to consider joining the long line of students who have made the High School Page Program a formative experience in their lives and a great Minnesota tradition.
Contained within this website, you will find important program information and a downloadable application. Read all of this information carefully, paying special attention to the section titled "Information for Students."
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your student’s journey. We look forward to welcoming them to an inspiring and transformative experience.
