Constituent Services Specialist/Writer - DFL Caucus


Full-time Constituent Services Specialist/Writer position with the DFL Caucus of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Primary responsibilities include casework, research, and writing services for the DFL members of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Proven writing and organizational abilities required. Working knowledge of the legislative and political process is essential to effectively function in this position. A demonstrated ability to provide research and analysis within assigned issue areas is strongly preferred.

Good communications, customer service, and human relations skills a must. Frequent public contact necessary. Must have the ability to work long and irregular hours, especially during session. BA or BS desired.

This is a full-time, at-will position that works in person with the possibility of some interim remote work consistent with House policies and department needs. The House offers a competitive salary and opportunities for ongoing professional development. Starting classification and annual salary commensurate with relevant experience. Constituent Services Specialist/Writer I - III range $59,184 - $131,256.96. The starting salary range for an entry-level Constituent Services Specialist/Writer I is generally between $59,184 and $65,102.40, depending on relevant experience.
