CAPITAL INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Fue Lee, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM on April 29, 2024, in the Basement Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Reyer assumed the gavel at 1:01 pm.

HF 5220 (Lee, F.) Spending authorized to acquire and better public land and buildings and for other improvements of a capital nature, new programs established and existing programs modified, prior appropriations modified, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Lee presented HF 5220 on an informational basis.

Minnesota House Research and Fiscal staff provided an overview and informational walkthrough of HF 5220 and the A24-0320 amendment.

HF 5162 (Lee, F.) Early childhood learning and child protection facilities funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Lee presented HF 5162 on an informational basis.

Minnesota House Research and Fiscal staff provided an overview and informational walkthrough of HF 5162 and the A24-0319 amendment.

A quorum was present.

Representative Skraba moved that the minutes from April 24, 2024 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:26 PM.

HF 5220 (Lee F.) will be the vehicle bill for the 2024 GO Bonding Bill.
HF 5162 (Lee F.) will be the vehicle bill for the 2024 General Fund Capital Investment Bill.
