Dear Neighbors,
As you may have heard, Lincoln Elementary School was recently named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education! The recognition honors elementary, middle, and high schools where students achieve very high learning standards or are making large improvements in closing the achievement gap. Lincoln Elementary falls into the very high learning standards achievement category, earning the title of an Exemplary High Performing school, and places the school among our state’s very highest performing schools.
As the new school year begins in earnest, we can all take inspiration from Lincoln Elementary’s excellence. I hope you will all join me in congratulating the students, teachers, and staff at Lincoln Elementary School – we can all be proud of the exceptional work being done there!
